All of our Level 1: Complex Sentences lessons are now available to purchase as print booklets. This means that you can purchase individual lessons on topics that match your child’s particular needs (e.g., commas or sentence grammar) or purchase our complete Level 1: Complex Sentences curriculum as one book. Our print format curriculum includes video lessons at the beginning of each unit, but all other instruction is included in the print booklet—no screens necessary. The booklet includes the answer key and extensive advice on what feedback to give your child on specific writing exercises. As always, our curriculum is specially tailored to the learning speed and depth of gifted elementary and middle school children. We quickly move through grammar and punctuation topics and have kids practice them while also learning about specific fiction and poetry writing (and reading) skills.

If you like the idea of your child doing work in print format rather than on a screen, but are nervous about being responsible for grading and giving feedback on their work (or simply don’t have the time), we also offer private one-on-one sessions with a teacher. Schedule sessions as often as you’d like, either as recurring lessons or as a one-time session to work through a roadblock or get feedback on a particularly challenging assignment. Our goal is to get your child writing and writing well, in whatever learning structure is required.
